There’s a big pitfall when you start a new blog and tend to not update it after a month of saying you will make it a weekly project – you become lazy and it ends up losing its purpose. The exact opposite of what I wanted to happen for this new space I’ve created to document my daily (nay, monthly) musings in NYC.
There’s a lot of things that has happened over the past month which didn’t involve me dying and disappearing off the face of the earth. I met new friends and have been spending a lot of my weekends going out to brunches (and coming home before nightfall a.k.a 6PM – because lola vibes), exploring new places in NYC, trying out new restaurants, landing a job I am learning to love, and overall just be inspired of what the big apple has to offer. Apparently, it also offers an inadvertent attempt of pulling off a deep vneck crop top and the whole lace bralette trend – and if you ask the past Thea if she would ever try something like this, you’d probably hear a big N-O. Though, I’ve tried changing my wardrobe up a bit and it has been a breath of fresh air to try out different styles. I guess that’s what a new environment does to you, you aren’t afraid to explore something new.
So, this is me. Checking in. Hi.
